Pierre Ménès, homage and emotion

This time it's done: Bernard Tapie has his statue. A long -standing work that was finally inaugurated this Friday near the Stade Vélodrome de Marseille. Emblematic President of OM and in particular winner of the 1993 Champions League, the business man now disappeared is thus honored. What cause many reactions, like that of Pierre Ménès.

Visibly moved by this mark of recognition towards the one who was also a (very brief) minister under the presidency of François Mitterand, Pierre Ménès posted a message on his social networks. A photo of the statue representing a photo entry into the legend of a Bernard Tapie raising the European trophy, carried in triumph by several players of the time including the scorer against Milan, Basile Boli, but also Didier Dechamps.
