The 37th day of the Premier League began this Friday evening with the meetings of Tottenham and Manchester United, five days before their Europa League final in Bilbao.

Respectively 16th and 17th in the ranking, the Spurs and the Red Devils confronted teams from a top of the table. And they didn't really influence the race for Europe.

Manchester United bowed on the Chelsea field (1-0), on a goal from Marc Cucurella (71st). The Blues consolidate their place in the Top 5, before a determining trip to the lawn of Nottingham Forest on the last day.

Precious success for Aston Villa

At the same time, or almost, Tottenham was beaten on the lawn of Asson Villa (2-0). After the opening of Ezri Konsa's score (59th), the French international Boubacar Kamara scored his first first league goal of a pretty strike from the left (71st).

This result allows Aston Villa to take 5th place and put pressure on Manchester City, which will face Bournemouth next Tuesday.
