It's done, FC Barcelona is Spanish champion! Even if everyone suspected that the Blaugranas were going to be sacred for a while, perhaps even before the clasico last weekend, it was not until this Barcelona derby concluded on a 2-0 victory to seal the title. The icing on the cake of a particularly successful season, synonymous with a new era which opened in Barcelona after several mixed seasons. A wind of fresh air to which Hansi Flick is logically no stranger, he who was able to rely on many completely fulfilled individuals in his system.

After the meeting, the Barcelonais had a smile. As soon as the referee gave the final whistle, the Barça players all jumped on the lawn, even if it is true that Hensi Flick, out of respect for the fans of the Espanyol, asked them not to hang around too much on the meadow and to go to celebrate in the locker room. Pedri was then the first to speak, in front of the cameras of Movistar.

Night of coming celebrations

“It is one of the hardest titles of the season, if not the hardest. We are happy with our season, the way the team has played, I think the fans had fun, like us. (…) A liga does not win every day, we will celebrate it as it should be ”said the talented Canarian midfielder. Then it was Fermin Lopez who spoke: “We are very happy, we have dreamed of that from the start, we worked so we deserve it. We haven't talked to the coach yet, but he guided us on all this way. Tonight we will celebrate, that's for sure, we will not be tired ”.

Hansi Flick also spoke: “This second part of the season was incredible, congratulations to the team, the club and the fans. It's amazing, we are very happy. We were very mentally, we trained well, we were confident, the players reached their best level, we see that they have improved, I am very happy. Bravo to the team. With Barça, you have to win titles, we won 3 so it's good, I suffered after the half of Milan (in LDC, note) but I am happy and I think the club and the players too “. Suffice to say that the night looks crazy in the streets of Barcelona!
