Atalanta took an ideal start against AS Rome thanks to a luminous action by Charles de Ketelaere, author of a millimeter pass in the surface for Ademola Lookman, who opened the scoring in the 9th minute (1-0). Despite a huge opportunity missed by De Ketelaere in the 32nd, stopped by a large stop by Mile Svilar, Roma returned to the score before the break. Bryan Crisnte took advantage of a deviated center to equalize from the head at close range, completely reviving the suspense (32nd, 1-1).

But Atalanta was able to make the difference at the end of the match. Ibrahim Sulemana, on the lookout out of the surface, took advantage of a pushed ball to trigger a powerful strike that deceived Svilar to the 78th. This goal offered a precious victory to Atalanta. Thanks to this success, Atalanta consolidates its 3rd place, while Roma remains blocked in 6th position.
