Mason Greenwood made his talent again this Saturday in Ligue 1 under the colors of Olympique de Marseille, during success against Le Havre (3-1). The English striker signed the second goal of the Olympians, with a superb left strike twenty meters.

With this achievement, the former Manchester United player brings his total to 19 goals in 33 championship games. A figure that keeps him in second place in the scorer ranking, just behind Ousmane Dembélé (21 goals).

Record hunting is launched

This assessment allows Greenwood to equal a past legend of OM, Didier Drogba, also author of 19 achievements during his only season on the Canebière in 2003-2004. The question now is whether he will be able to join, or go beyond, Bafétimbi Gomis and André-Pierre Gignac (21 goals each), even Florian Thauvin, club record holder in a season with 22 units.
