It's official: the Premier League will have six representatives in the Champions League next season, a historic first. In addition to the five places already guaranteed via the championship thanks to the UEFA classification, Manchester United or Tottenham, which will compete in the Europa League final on May 21 in San Mamés, will offer an additional place to England in the event of a victory.

The Europa League winner will automatically qualify for the next edition, bringing the number of English clubs to C1 to six. Already champion, Liverpool will be accompanied by four other teams among Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle, Chelsea or Nottingham Forest.
