PSG has not yet raised the trophy … but it has already won the Battle of the Millions. Even before the Champions League final against Inter Milan, the Paris club is the one that has generated the most income among all participants in the 2024-2025 edition. Thanks to its impressive journey, concluded by a qualification against Arsenal on Wednesday evening, Paris Saint-Germain has already collected 137.917 million euros from UEFA.

This sum slightly exceeds that of Inter Milan, which garnered 136.627 million euros. The difference is not explained only by sports results, but also by a new criterion implemented by UEFA: the “value” pillar. Introduced this season, it merges two former criteria – the country's television market share and the club's UEFA coefficient – to establish a more global estimate of the economic contribution of each participant. In this game, PSG is ahead of Inter.

On the field side, the Italians have earned more money over the disputed towers, but the Parisians therefore benefit from a better classification in this “value” pillar. And the jackpot can still grow. The winner of the final on May 31 in Munich will receive an additional bonus of 6.5 million euros. A sum to which will be added 4 million for the participation in the UEFA Super Cup in August.

How much have the other French clubs collected?

Behind the two finalists, Arsenal (116.999 M €) and FC Barcelona (116.563 M €), both eliminated in the semi-finals, complete the top 5 of the best remunerated clubs this season. Further on, the LOSC, stopped in eighths, still pockets € 78.717 million, while the Brestois stadium, released in play -offs by Paris, affects € 51.582 million. AS Monaco, on the other hand, is 21st place with € 59.769 million.

This rain of millions illustrates how the Champions League has become a crucial competition not only sportingly, but also economically. And for PSG, a victory in Munich would not only be historic: it could also seal a financially record season.
