Absent since last September following a knee injury, Marc-André Ter Stegen returned to the field this Saturday during the Barça victory over the lawn of Valladolid (2-1).

Questioned at a press conference after the match on competition between his two goalkeepers, Hansi Flick announced that he had decided for this end of the season. The German coach decided that Wojciech Szczesny would be the holder for the big meetings against Inter Milan this Tuesday but also during the Clasico on May 11.

“Szczesny will play the Champions League against Inter and then also against Real Madrid. It is decided. I am happy that Ter Stegen is available, “ he launched in front of the journalists.

Focus on Inter Milan

Barça did the job this Saturday against Valladolid on behalf of the 34th day of Liga. A success that allows the Catalans to keep their distance from Real Madrid. The Clasico on the next day could allow Hansi Flick's men to take a very big step towards the title of Spanish champion.

But before thinking of the Clasico, the Blaugranas will be focused on the semi-final return of C1 on the lawn of Inter Milan on Tuesday. Held in check on their lawn in the first leg (3-3), the Spaniards must win to reach the C1 final on May 31 in Munich.
