Naples is getting closer to the title. Romelu Lukaku thought he was opening the scoring for Naples in the 2nd minute by taking up a millimeter center of Matteo Politano, his shot finding the small right net. But the joy was short-lived: the referee quickly called on the Var to verify a possible out-of-game from the action. Finally, it was Raspadori who concretized Neapolitan domination in the 24th minute, by placing a splendid free kick in the right corner of the goal to score the first goal of the match (0-1).
Despite frank opportunities on both sides, neither team managed to make the difference. Solid and effective, the Neapolitans knew how to hold their lead to the end. Thanks to this victory, they reinforce their leader's place with 77 points, ahead of Inter Milan (71), which however has one less match to pick up.
