The country stadium of Father-Deschamps is not really unknown for Zinédine Zidane. The legend of French football went to the lair of AJ Auxerre with AS Cannes (in December 1990) and several times with the Girondins de Bordeaux (for a goal scored in November 1993), as well as in the jersey of the French team during the history 10-0 against Azerbaijan in September 1995 and even with Real Madrid as adviser to President Florentino Pérez in 2010.
“Zizou” may well find the Icaunaise enclosure on May 27 for the Jubilee of Djibril Cissé. The scorer trained at AJ Auxerre, born in Arles and passed through OM, was a friend with Zidane, a native of Marseille, during their years in common in the French team. The “Djib” started with the Blues before the 2002 World Cup in South Korea and Japan, missed Euro 2004 due to a red card received among the hopes and then broke its leg before the 2006 World Cup in Germany, during the Honor Baroud of the 98 Golden Ball.
In addition to the many big glories of French football (and even Steven Gerrard!), Zinedine Zidane is therefore announced to the Jubilee Cissé by some! It is not yet official, but “It is a name that returns insistently, according to several sources close to the organization contacted by 'here auxerre'”can we read on the site of Francebleu.fr.

To compose the two teams, the Cissé All-Stars and the Aja legends, Djibril Cissé struck hard. Zinédine Zidane would end up with many former tricolor teammates like Sébastien Frey, Grégory COUPET, William Gallas, Gaël Givet, Claude Makelele, Robert Pirès, Florent Malouda and Thierry Henry, as well as Mamadou Sakho, Samir Nasri, Jay-Jay Okocha, Steven Gerrard, Mamadou Niang, Gomis and Didier Drogba, who will all be delighted to share the locker room with the probable future coach of the Blues!
Opposite, in the team of former Auxerrois players, we will notably find Lionel Charbonnier, Fabien Cool, Basile Boli, Philippe Mexès, Bacary Sagna, Lionel Mathis, Benoît Cheyrou, Bonaventure Kalou, Olivier Kapo, Yann Lachuer or Khalilou Fadiga. The cast is exceptional. Pending other names formalized by Djibril Cissé on his X. Enough to overcome an abbot-deschamps stadium at only 17,897 places.
