Manchester City took a giant step in the Champions League race. Unbeaten since 8 games, Pep Guardiola's men stretched their series this Friday evening by winning at home against Wolverhampton (1-0), in a match counting for the 35th day of the Premier League. A success acquired thanks to a goal from Kevin de Bruyne, who played his penultimate match at the Etihad Stadium tonight.

After a huge work of his compatriot Doku on the side, the Belgian environment adjusted Jose his flat with a perfect foot (35th). On the Wolves side, the biggest situation was a pole of the insatiable Cunha at the start of the second period (57th). Thanks to this success, Manchester City keeps its third place in the Premier League tonight, which remains almost an anomaly in the middle of what its catastrophic start to the season was, and of what has been its insolent domination in the championship in recent years.
