The one who also defended the Arsenal cages between 2010 and 2015 explained that it was his compatriot Robert Lewandowski who came to contact to try to convince him, although he first hesitated to respond favorably: ” It's strange, because I remember that I came back from the golf course with my son, and the match against Villarreal had already started. And a few days later, after a few honest conversations between my wife and me, she decided more than me that I could not say no. And I must admit today that she was right. Because if I saw this Barcelona team from my sofa in Marbella, knowing that I could be part of it, I would not forgive myself. Months later, it seems that this decision was the right one.
