It's over for PSG

It is by taking only one point in two Ligue 1 matches-in the space of three days-that PSG prepared its semi-final of the Champions League against Arsenal, with a first round at the Emirates Stadium. Luis Enrique's men are not too tracked at Beaujoire Tuesday evening (1-1). They were much more enterprising in their princes park, when the OGC Nice came on Friday, but finally lost their very first match of the championship season (1-3).

The Parisians, so strongly this season, had a great opportunity to break the invincibility record of FC Nantes from 1995, when the Canaries had chained 32 matches without losing. The capital's club stops at 30 games, when it could even have offered the historic record of zero defeat over the season, but came across a phenomenal Marcin Bulka in the cages of the gym and on particularly realistic Aiglons.

Ousmane Dembélé, already little success in recent weeks, will have to do much better against Arsenal. He had half a dozen opportunities against the opposing goal without ever beat the Polish goalkeeper who passed by PSG. But he also missed the frame. Only Fabian Ruiz made the nets of the Aiglons tremble before half-time (41st). Désiré Doué and Khvicha KVaratskhelia were more discreet but also lacked lucidity when arming their strikes towards Bulka and Bradley Barcola, at the end of the match, did not do better.

Sanson kills PSG!

On the other side of the field, Franck Haise's training was much more successful by concretizing the rare opportunities she had. Morgan Sanson, for his first tenure of the season, has scored a double! The former Marseillais was launched by Badredine Bouanani for the opening of the score (34th), before the equalization of PSG. From the start in the second half, Sanson gave the advantage to his team with a huge volley (46th), then Youssouf Ndayishimiye marked the head on an eccentric free kick (70th). It may give ideal ideas, which excels precisely on the stopped phases …

For Nice, this victory at the Parc des Princes is also crucial since the formation of Franck Haise temporarily dates back to 4th position in the classification at a point only of OM, the 2nd. The gym clearly has the calendar to hang the qualification in the Champions League by facing Reims, Rennes and Brest in its last three weekends…
