Already crowned champion of France for the 13th time in its history and always undefeated, PSG found Ligue 1 against Le Havre, with the desire to chain a 24th victory (for 5 draws). The Parisians replayed only four days after their hectic qualification for the semi-finals of the Champions League against Aston Villa (3-1, 2-3), where they had made some fear in England. Opposite, Le Havre was fighting for the maintenance and remained on a severe setback at Rennes (1-5), after two precious successes against Nantes (3-2) and in Montpellier (2-0). Before this perilous trip, the Norman club had three lengths ahead of Saint-Etienne, which received Lyon on Sunday evening, and accused a slight delay in Reims (15th), Nantes and Angers (13th and 14th).

From the first minute, Touré pointed out on Le Havre side with a left strike, easily captured by Safonov. Paris quickly replied: Gouts, very legs, multiplied the initiatives. On a tense center of Barcola, Mbaye was aptly preceded by Ballo-Touré (5th). A few moments later, Doué opened the scoring: after a recovery towards Barcola on the left, the young Parisian continued his call, recovered the ball in the surface, erased yout and deceived lloris of the right, with a slight deviation (8th, 1-0). The Ile -de -France residents then kept the initiative. Mayulu ended up alone in the surface and tried his luck on the left, but Gorgelin released a superb parade to divert into a corner (18th). Gorgelin still distinguished himself by postponing Gonçalo Ramos' attempt in the 22nd minute. Despite a large Parisian domination (78 % possession), the Normans offered an opportunity before the break: Casimir tumbled on the right side and struck at the ground, but Safonov captured serenely on the ground (31st). Goutout was found in the surface by a sharp pass and struck without control down the goal, but Gorgelin released a beautiful parade (45th+1).

Paris doubles the bet, Le Havre reduces the gap

If Gorgelin shone in the first period, he could not do anything on the return from the locker room. Goutout accelerated on the left side, found Barcola, then Mayulu, who stung his ball above the goalkeeper. Ramos emerged to conclude in front of Lloris. PSG has done the station wagon (50th, 2-0). After several attempts on both sides, Le Havre reduced the gap. On a corner well driven by Casimir, Hassan gave the second post, and Soumaré, more prompt than Mayulu, equalized with a powerful whim. Safonov was beaten on his left (61st, 2-1). At the end of the match Paris still showed great things. Goutout progressed a ball on the right axis, raised his head and offered a nice ball over the Le Havre defense for Ramos, perfectly placed in front of the goal. But the Portuguese poorly adjusted its recovery of the flat on the left foot (75th).

Zaïre-Emery was also threatening to the right of the Le Havre surface, but he stumbled on Gorgelin, who again pushed his foot. A Parisian center still followed, Ramos tried a chisel but was ahead. Le Havre was quick to react: Ayew was snatched on the right side to issue a lifted center of the right foot. Barely entered, Ndiaye arose in the area and tried a head, but it was above (80th). Final score 2 goals to 1. In the ranking, Paris remains, without surprise, comfortably installed at the head of Ligue 1. Le Havre, meanwhile, retains its 16th place and is still found in a barragist position, with 27 points. The gap remains thin, since they are only two lengths late in Reims, the first non-relief.
