Without this postponement requested by the Parisians, there should have been a Nantes-PSG this weekend in Beaujoire. This season, the players of Luis Enrique have the Nantes in the viewfinder, but not those of Antoine Kombouaré. Rather those of Jean-Claude Suaudeau.
PSG intends to beat the FC Nantes 1994-95 record, which started the season with 32 matches without defeat. That year, the Canaries had beaten the Parisians of Luis Fernandez twice, 3-0 at the Parc des Princes in January, and especially 1-0 in Beaujoire in August. The goal is legendary, signed Patrice Loko, after an air-two with Reynald Pedros.

The author of the touch that launches the action, Benoît Cauet, recently remembered this goal for Ouest-France: “I see Reynald Pedros leaving at 200 an hour and I see that the defense of Paris is not replaced. I tell myself that there is a blow to do. Reynald succeeds with a one-two with Patrice Loko. The two of them could play with their eyes closed. This action has often been taken as an example. This goal is great in its design ”he described.
The goal of Patrice Loko, a jewel
In a sequence broadcast on social networks, three young players from FC Nantes, Louis Leroux, Dehmaine Tabibou and Herba Guirassy, tried to reproduce this goal in training. The three players trained in the Canaries first reviewed video action, admiring: “They don't even talk to each other”, “the last pass is what will be the hardest”, “these are the great years of the Nantes game”they reacted.
With the ball, Leroux, Tabibou and Guirassy had confirmation of the difficulty of this sequence. Despite several attempts, and by changing the roles, they never managed to score an equivalent goal.
Note that for lovers of FC Nantes and nostalgic for the past grandeur of the yellow and green, a legends match will be organized on June 3, in Beaujoire. We will find players from generations from 1965 to 2022, from the first of the eight French champions titles of the Canaries to the last French Cup.
Patrice Loko will be partying. The other announced names: Amisse, Baronchelli, Pécout, Bertrand-Demanes, Bossis, Desailly, Rampillon, Der Zakarian, Casagrande, Karembeu, N'Doram, Pignol, Armand, Carrière, Da Rocha, Monterrubio, Deroff, Ziani…
