This Tuesday evening, Bayern Munich welcomed Inter Milan on the occasion of the quarter -rounds of the Champions League. After dominating the first part of the first period, the German club was very close to opening the scoring shortly before half an hour of play. Following an excellent work of the French Olise, author of several feints, Harry Kane wrapped a strike of the right which was crashed on the opposite post (26th).
Against the course of the game, it was the Italian training that opened the scoring, after a roundly carried out action. Carlos Augusto focused towards Marcus Thuram, who was in line for Lautaro Martinez. The Argentinian international concluded this phase of play with a sublime exterior of the law under the crossbar (1-0, 38th). The men of Simone Inzaghi thus returned to the locker room with an advantage on the display board.
In the second half, the Bavarians pushed to obtain equalization. War was not far from achieving it but his volley of the left foot passed just above the goal of Sommer (64th). Kane, half a volley (81st), then Müller (83rd) also failed. It was finally the latter, who came into play a few minutes before, who found the fault, at the end, however (1-1, 85th).
Bayern takes a cold shower
While the players of Vincent Kompany pushed to tear off the victory, Frattesi sought the Allianz Arena. Following a pass of Barella in the depth and a center of Carlos Augusto, the 25-year-old midfielder beat Urbig for the second time of the evening (1-2, 88th).
This intenist victory constitutes a real feat, insofar as Bayern Munich remained undefeated during his last 22 games of the Champions League at home (17 victories and 5 draws). The quarter -return quarter will take place in Giuseppe Meazza (Milan) on Wednesday, April 16, at 9 p.m.
