The Dani Olmo affair has not finished tormenting FC Barcelona. While the Higher Sports Council had granted a derogation to the club to present Dani Olmo and Pau Victor on match sheets, the Liga opposed this decision, and filed a legal-administrative appeal, requesting the cancellation of this authorization, and therefore the withdrawal of the two players from the club's official lists.
“The Liga considers that this decision seriously violates the regulatory framework relating to the economic control and the management of players' licenses. She also considers that this decision undermines the general interest of the sports competition and threatens its integrity by flouting the principle of equality between clubs.
