It is a matter that may make a big splash. This Thursday, a woman formerly close to the professional circle of Nasser Al-Khelaïfi brought heavy accusations against him before the Paris industrial tribunal. The facts, confidential for several months, have just been revealed in a judicial framework and relayed by Le Parisien. And the revelations are potentially devastating for the president of Paris Saint-Germain.

Behind this procedure hides “Myriam” (assumed name), former executive assistant in the offices of BeIN Sports and PSG. After almost ten years of collaboration, she claims to have been exhausted by a disproportionate workload, speaking of 1,900 overtime over the year 2021. But it is an episode that occurred after her pregnancy which caught the attention: when she returned from maternity leave, she would have found a word on her office:
“No more babies.” A sentence interpreted as a moral slap, all the more painful since Myriam says he has never been able to have a second child.

Between requirement and harassment? The testimony that overwhelms Nak

The story evokes a weighing climate and a progressive descent into hell. Myriam would have worked almost seven days a week, with responsibilities going far beyond her post. In 2022, she was dismissed, after a series of sick leave for overwork and depression. His lawyer is talking about moral harassment today and a system that would have crushed her despite his total commitment.

A note, a burn-out, and a trial: the image reverse for al-Khelaïfi

This case comes as criticism against al-Khelaifi are increasing. The report recently released in Complement d'Enquier has already brought a severe blow to its image. The club wanted to be reassuring, speaking of a storm that “Do not make him hot or cold”but rehearsal of business tarnishes its aura.

Faced with the requests for damages of Myriam, BeIN Sports refutes any fault and talks about “parts” claims. Justice will decide in July. In the meantime, the name of Al-Khelaïfi continues to resonate in a climate of growing distrust.
