President of Olympique Lyonnais between 1987 and 2023, Jean-Michel Aulas did not retire. On the contrary, the businessman plans to present himself to the municipal elections in his city of heart.
For several months, the one who is now 76 years old openly criticizes elected Rhodanian environmentalists. Last February, he even established a direct link between work on Felix-Faure avenue and a fatal accident touching two men with scooters. Now, his electoral ambition no longer seems to be in doubt.

Do not be distracted by politics professionals, who do not want the unity to which I aspire the most. Nothing will be possible without restoring security everywhere and for everyone, without returning to our city its cleanliness and dignity, without relaunching its economic and cultural attractiveness, without sports equipment that lives the practice of amateurs, and in priority of women … “wrote Jean-Michel Aulas on his X account.
Aulas, an ambition always so overflowing
And the founder of the Cegid company to conclude:
“Nothing will be released on what really matters, and in particular on an ecology which must be positive and pragmatic, and no longer dogmatic. This is how I want to return to Lyon his honor, his energy, the pride and the pleasure of living there ”.
In order to test his candidacy for the next municipal elections in Lyon, the former president of OL recently commissioned a survey at a specialized institute. According to the results revealed in Le Progrès, his list would collect 17 % of the vote.
