Ligue 1: The nominees for the Marc-Vivien Foé 2025 Prize

The end of the season approaches slowly and with it its share of collective and individual awards. Each year, the Marc-Vivien Foé Prize is an unmissable event for African players evolving in Ligue 1. This trophy crowns the one who, according to a jury gathered by RFI and France 24, has the best season in our French championship. Radio France International has also just unveiled the 12 candidates who will compete for this honorary title in a few weeks to succeed the last two winners: the Marseillais Chancel Mbemba and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

In the attackers' department, there will also be Amine Gouiri (25 years old). The Algerian has straightened the bar since his departure from Rennes for OM, where he quickly became essential. He will undoubtedly be one of the favorites, in the company of Achraf Hakimi (26), Taulier of a PSG that is working on France this season. The Moroccan is undoubtedly the one who goes with the most in advance in the polls.

Who to succeed Aubameyang?

Moussa Niakhaté (29) is in the running. Raillé at the start of the season for the price of his transfer, the Senegalese central defender won without difficulty in the hinge of OL.
