In recent years now, the biggest clubs in Europe have launched a race for money. Despite an overloaded calendar, some are for example delighted to compete in the next FIFA club World Cup which will allow them to garner several tens of millions of euros (€ 125 million for the winner). The creation or modernization of stadiums has also become a main issue. Real Madrid can finally have its new Bernabéu which has become a cash machine, FC Barcelona is impatiently awaiting the end of the work of the Spotify Camp Nou, while PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United and the two Milan launched the plans for their future setting.

For several years, clubs have also had another way to bring large liquidity: the valuation of their tunic. Some also take advantage of a fellow worker war to renegotiate their contract upwards. We think for example of FC Barcelona which has benefited since the end of last year from a new record contract with Nike or in Liverpool who will leave the American firm to return to Adidas from next season. Finally, in addition to the equipment manufacturers, there are also sponsors ready to release a large check to appear on the jerseys of the largest stables on the old continent. Marca has also just unveiled the ten clubs generating the most income thanks to their jersey.

MU is still worth gold despite its sporting crisis

Already well armed financially with its new multifunctional stadium, Real Madrid also explodes all the competition with the small game of tunics sponsorship. The Casa Blanca collects no less than € 260 million per year! € 120 million comes from the contract with Adidas, € 70 million from the company Fly Emirates and the same amount from the IT company HP. The Merengues are ahead of a team at the field, but still concerned by the leading roles: Manchester United. While waiting for the future stadium, the Red Devils collect € 200 million per season. Again, Adidas occupies a large part (€ 105 million), ahead of Snapdragon (€ 70 million) and DXC Technology (€ 25 million). FC Barcelona completes the podium with € 183 million (€ 105 million Nike, € 70 million Spotify, € 8 million Ambilight).

On the French side, only Paris Saint-Germain appears in this ranking. The capital's club is fifth (€ 170 million), just behind Manchester City (€ 171.5 million) and ahead of Arsenal (€ 141.5 million). To reach this amount, Paris affects € 90 million annually thanks to its equipment supplier (Nike), € 70 million thanks to Qatar Airways and € 10 million comes from snipes. Finally, Bayern Munich (7th, € 123 million), Liverpool (8th, € 102.5 million), Borussia Dortmund (9th, 99 M €) and Tottenham (10th, 80 M €) close the walk. Please note, it should be recalled that Liverpool announced its visit to Adidas from next season and that it is the contract with Nike (€ 58.5 million annually) that was taken into account in this ranking.
