Among the reinforcements of this last winter transfer window, two players symbolize the direction taken by Stade Rennais: Seko Fofana and Brice Samba. Former executives of the Racing Club of Lens, the Ivorian midfielder and the French goalkeeper must bring their experience in a group that lacks lived in Ligue 1.
While Steve Mandanda was the best paid player of the workforce hitherto (300,000 euros monthly), Fofana and Samba are now ahead of the 2018 world champion since according to the newspaper L'Équipe newspaper, the two flagship recruits of January have a monthly salary estimated at 400,000 euros.
