During an unexpected meeting, the Lakers superstar and the French winner of the World Cup exchanged their jerseys after a recent NBA match.

After a Los Angeles match at Crypto.com Arena, Luka Doncic, newly recruited by Lakers and All-Star NBA, met the French icon Thierry Henry, passing through Los Angeles for the broadcast of the League of Concacaf. The two emblematic figures of sport exchanged their jerseys: Doncic presented its Mavericks and Henry jersey offered a classic Arsenal jersey.

Luka Doncic is a Slovenian basketball prodigy who knew Glory with Real Madrid before joining the NBA in 2018. Third drafted by Atlanta Hawks, he was immediately transferred to the Dallas Mavericks.

In six and a half seasons with the Mavericks, Donic was five times All-Star and a member of the first All-NBA team, leading the team to the NBA 2024 final. In early February, Donic was exchanged at the Los Angeles Lakers for Anthony Davis as part of a transfer to three teams involving UTAH jazz.

Dononic and the Lakers bowed against the Chicago Bulls on Saturday and face the Orlando magic. Henry also made him talk about him on Thursday evening during the Nations League match between the USMNT and Panama, when Cecilio Waterman celebrated his victorious goal by jumping on the set of CBS and hugging Henry in his arms.
