Harry Kane would seriously consider a return to the Premier League this summer, but Tottenham would not be the favorite to recruit him.

According to El Nacional, sources close to Bayern Munich star claim that the 31 -year -old is seriously considering a return to the Premier League at the end of the season and wishes to end his career in England. The newspaper adds that Liverpool would be the favorite to recruit the attacker.

Kane has been prolific since his transfer from Tottenham to Bayern in 2023 and, this season, he finally seems to get closer to his very first major trophy. But if this objective is achieved, the English captain – whose contract would include a release clause – could aim for the Premier League and break the goals of Alan Shearer.

A record in sight

Kane, whose contract with Bayern runs until 2027, is currently the second top scorer in the history of the Premier League (213), behind Alan Shearer (260). If the former Spurs player soon returned to England, he could go beyond the Newcastle United legend.

In the meantime, Kane could play for England at home against Latvia on Monday, during the next qualification match for the World Cup. Kane scored the second goal of the 2-0 victory of England against Albania, thus marking an impressive beginning of the reign for Thomas Tuchel.
