Years go by and Portugal continues to generate frustration among its admirers. While it has one of the most impressive workforce on paper, the training of Roberto Martinez fails to seduce in the content it offers. And when the insufficient results are added to these failures in the game, Portugal is necessarily pointed out. The first leg against Denmark in the quarterfinals of the League of Nations is the best example.

Bashed up by the Scandinavian selection,
Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates ended up cracking at the end of the match (0-1). By conceding this reverse of a short head, Portugal is placed in a delicate posture, but it has largely the assets to reverse the situation during this second round. Once again, all eyes will be on CR7, whose presence in the eleven continues to fuel the debates, despite its national icon status and its shovel records.

The expected compos

Portugal : D Costa; Dalot, Dias, Veiga, Mendes; Vitinha, Neves; Neto, Fernandes, Leao; Ronaldo.

Denmark : Schmeichel; Kristen, Andersen, Vestergaard, Maehle; Hjulmand, Norgaard; Isaksen, Eriksen, Lindstrom; Hojlund.
