A blow for PSG. Touched at the ankle during the draw between South Korea and Oman (1-1), Lee Kang-in had left the field in tears and with crutches. Despite the first reassuring exams, the Parisian community will finally return to Paris to continue its care. His coach, Hong Myung-Bo, confirmed the news at a press conference: “ With Lee Kang-in, the tests have shown that his injury is not as serious as we fear. I just had a conversation with him and I was able to reaffirm his commitment to the national team. However, it is just as important for its club as for the national team. We decided to let him go and two other injured players from the national team. »»

His absence could last up to two weeks according to The Korea Times and the agency Yonhapwhich report words from the South Korean medical staff. It would thus miss the matches against Saint-Etienne (March 29), Dunkirk (April 1) and Angers (April 5), but could be restored for the decisive quarter-finals of the Champions League against Aston Villa (April 9 and 15). As for the selection, the player will also miss the next meeting against Jordan next Tuesday.
