Manchester City star Omar Marmoush criticized the “lack of confidence” of his teammates, who saw their European hopes destroyed by Brighton.

Manchester City is about to lose the title of Premier League for the first time since the 2019-20 season. In addition, his difficulties this season have reduced his chances of qualifying for the Champions League next season, and the 2-2 draw against Brighton at Etihad Stadium did not help the Pep Guardiola team.

Manchester City carried out several recruitments in January to improve its performance, and the best recruit of the Cityzens was undoubtedly Omar Marmoush, from the Eintracht Frankfurt. The Egyptian striker scored City's second goal against Brighton and now urged his teammates to demonstrate their “quality” more.

Hopefully in the end, we will drop out of this place. We just have to demonstrate our qualities more, have more confidence ball at the foot, better keep the ball and do as Manchester City has always done, and I think we will be good. »»

City still has to fight for FA Cup this season, in addition to its fight for a place in the top 4 of the Premier League. The Guardiola team will find the competition by facing Bournemouth in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup on March 30.
