For several months, Michael Olise has become one of the new darling of the French public. Brilliant during the Olympic Games, the winger born in England had been one of the craftsmen of the silver medal gleaned by the Blues in Paris. Already the author of a big season with Crystal Palace, he then quickly changed in a very large club by joining Bayern Munich last summer. Author of very convincing performances with the Bavarian club (13 goals, 11 assists in 39 matches), the 23 -year -old honored his first selections with the French team. Having the opportunity to play with England, Algeria or Nigeria, the left -hander has never doubted and has always been sure that he was going to wear the jersey struck with the rooster. Questioned by the magazine The team On his ambitions with the Blues, Michael Olise explained that he was eager for titles with the Ouailles of Didier Deschamps:

“”It is such pride to go, to wear this jersey. I remember the first call of Didier Deschamps. I was too happy. I wanted it from a young age. Then I saw my name on the jersey … I was more excited than scared. I knew several young people, like Manu Koné, called at the same time as me and with whom I have a connection. Go together, it was very nice. This France group is quite young. It's a bit of a new team and we all want to win together. (…) In any case, I haven't won anything yet and I want a trophy. With Bayern, and then France next year, the World Cup, it's my dream. Football is unpredictable but that is what I want for in five or ten years: having won things.»»
