PSG was very strong by dominating Liverpool to win its place in the Champions League quarterfinals. This victory naturally marked the spirits in Europe but for the statistics, the cold and reasoned figures, the club of the capital is not necessarily the new favorite of the competition.

According to Opta Analyst, in fact, Parisians have every chance of winning the Supreme Continental Trophy on May 31 in Munich, but it is a collective that displays even more optimistic probabilities. If PSG thus has 19.3% of the final victory, FC Barcelona does even better with 20.4%.

Bayern downgraded

Behind the Blaugranas and the Reds and Blues, no Merengues, painfully overcome from Atlético in eighth, but the Real Madrid opponents in quarters: the Arsenal Gunners, credited of 16.8%. It is barely more than Inter Milan (16.4%) but it is well above the boarders of the White House, limited to 13.6% of potential success.

Another monument of the European round ball, Bayern Munich is not very well considered either, seeing its chances of coronation reduced to 9.7% according to OPTA. Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund being the least bankable a priori, with 2.8% and 1% chance conceded respectively.
