According to Sky Italia, Liverpool has submitted an offer of 100 million euros to sign the star of Naples Kvaratskhelia a few months before the player ended his transfer to the French capital. The Reds did not intend to sign the Georgian winger immediately and were ready to let him play for Naples during the 2024/25 campaign. They planned to bring the player to Anfield in the summer of 2025.
Kvaratskhelia in Liverpool?
Naples, however, rejected the offer at that time because they were determined to keep their star player. Kvaratskhelia also received an offer from PSG last summer, but he would have refuted their offer before finally signing six months later. In January, the Merseyside club would have been ready to fight with the Ligue 1 champions on the transfer market, but they never presented a formal offer.
Since his arrival in Paris in January, Kvaratskhelia has played 10 matches in all competitions with the Luis Enrique team, where he scored two goals and issued three assists. The 24 -year -old was the holder in the round of the Champions League against the men of Arne Slot. He will be back in action against Rennes on Saturday in Ligue 1.
