World champion 98 and 2000 European champion with the French team, David Trezeguet passed his coach diplomas in Argentina but has not yet found a club.

The comeback of David Trezeguet in high -level football is preparing. Retired since 2014 and a final experience in India, the 98 world champion and winner of Euro 2000 with the Blues (scoring the gold goal of the final against Italy) has undergone training in recent years with the idea of ​​training a team or being a club. The 47-year-old Franco-Argentinian first obtained a management diploma in Spain and then passed his certificate as a professional coach from the Conmebol (the South American Football Confederation). The opportunity for him to live with his family in Buenos Aires, where he grew up.

While waiting to find a position in Ligue 1, in Serie A or in Liga, him the former young prodigy of AS Monaco then prolific scorer of Juventus (before evolving a season in Hércules de Alicante), “Trezegol” continues his world tour. For example, he played a gala match in Monterrey, in northern Mexico, with many former glories of the calcio (including Youri Djorkaeff). Last weekend, he even found Louis-II to appreciate the victory of AS Monaco against Reims (3-0). He left with a flocked jersey of number 100 celebrating the centenary of the Principality club.

Trezeguet back as a player

Trezeguet resumes competition. The former three-color international with 71 selections (for 34 goals) is announced in the Juventus team for the next edition of the Dazn Infinity League, on March 22 in Munich. It is a five -five tournament but on a slightly larger field than a “five” (and with biggest goals), which mixes former players and content creators. The meetings are broadcast for free on the Dazn platform. Bayern was for example led last October by Giovane Élber, Zé Roberto and Claudio Pizarro.

Essential center-forward from Juventus from 2000 to 2010, winning the Scudetto twice and being elected best serie A player for the 2001-2002 season (!), David Trezeguet played the role of Ambassador of the Piedmontese club after his retirement. He traveled the world to represent the Bianconeri and also being part of the “FIFA Legends”. He therefore stopped these two activities to pass his manager and coach diplomas.
