PSV – Arsenal: Arteta announces a complicated match

The Champions League resumes its rights this Tuesday, with Arsenal which moves on the lawn of the PSV Eindhoven as part of the round of 16. And for the Gunners coach, Mikel Arteta, there is no question of underestimating the Dutch opponent, while the two teams have displayed a shocking form in recent weeks.

Indeed, since his victory against Leicester (2-0) on February 15 in the Premier League, Arsenal conceded a defeat against West Ham the following weekend and a draw against Nottingham Forest (0-0) on Wednesday. In parallel, the PSV chained two consecutive defeats in the Netherlands Cup (2-1) and Eredivisie (3-2) against Go Ahead Eagles, after its success against Juventus (3-1) in dams return on February 19.

Arteta warns against the PSV

“The reality for a coach like me is to look only at what's standing opposite. There, it is a team that eliminated Juventus, which has a story, we know that it will be complicated. We have played a lot against them in recent seasons. We know how difficult it will be ”, explained the Basque technician in front of the journalists.

As a reminder, the two formations had clashed during the previous exercise in the group stage of the C1. After a victory of the English (4-0) on the outward journey, the return had resulted in a draw (1-1).
