The PSG sports director Victoriano Melero gives news on the Mbappé file in an interview with Le Figaro.

The story between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappé ended last June when the French international decided to join Real Madrid, free from any contract. The behavior of the 2018 world champion had disappointed more than one. It must be said that since their rupture, the relationship between the two parties has not been in good shape. Kylian Mbappé claims a sum of 55.4 million euros in unpaid wages and bonuses. To justify itself, Paris Saint-Germain is confident and indicates that an oral agreement was established with the French international at the time.

In an interview with Figaro, The director general of PSG Victoriano Melero returned to this dispute between the club and Kylian Mbappé. The least we can say is that the leader is very optimistic. He declares that the verbal agreement which was concluded with the current Real Madrid player is today applied and indicates that justice, in charge of the file, will do his job by giving reason to one or the other party.

“” Today, we stick to this principle of agreement, which we have applied. Today, it is in the hands of the courts that will decide if it is Mbappé or PSG that is right (…) It will be up to justice to decide. And we have transmitted all our arguments to him, which are solid. Can it only be settled by prudhomme? It can only be the industrial tribunal, quite “Explains Melero.

As a reminder, Kylian Mbappé, who asked for a disciplinary procedure towards Paris Saint-Germain, saw his appeal to the FFF inadmissible last February due to the current legal proceedings with the Paris court. A first examination of the file should take place on May 26.
