The Lille suffered the law of Parisians this Saturday. After this setback, Jonathan David recognized the superiority of the French champions.

A few days before their European deadlines, Paris Saint-Germain and LOSC clashed at the Parc des Princes as part of the 24th day of Ligue 1. A one-way meeting, where the men of Luis Enrique took place, registering no less than four goals in the first period.

The Dogues still managed to save the honor thanks to Jonathan David. The Canadian striker, who came into play in the 63rd minute, took advantage of a strike deflected by Donnarumma to send the ball in the empty goal. An achievement which was however not enough for the former of the Gantoise to digest the bitterness of this heavy defeat (1-4) against Imperial Parisians.

“I am frustrated, disappointed, because I think we wanted to show a better face. It was a complicated match, Paris is a very nice team and shows why it is first. In the second half, we tried to do the best one could, we will have to use it to face Dortmund ”,
estimated the star of the Canucks.

The northern club will go next Tuesday at the Iduna Park to challenge the BVB in the round of 16 go to the Champions League. A shock that promises to be thrilling for Jonathan David and his teammates, classified seventh in this regular C1 season.
