Ibrahimovic beaten!

Ligue 1 is far from having found the successor of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a player with incredible talent and completely crazy statistics. During his four years at PSG, the Swedish giant scored 156 goals in 180 matches with the red and blue, or 39 goals per season on average. The new center center of AS Monaco is not as strong as Zlatan but started out in the hexagonal championship. It is obviously Mika Biereth!

Already the author of two triplets since his arrival on the rock on January 11, against Auxerre then Nantes, the 22-year-old Danish international again made the nets tremble three times when the Stade de Reims (3-0 victory). He and the first player in AS Monaco to register three triplets during a season since the illustrious Delio Onnis in 1975-1976 and he became the first in Ligue 1 in the 20th century to count 10 goals on his first seven matches, thus erasing “Ibra” tablets.

Monaco returns to OM

The Monegasques largely dominated the debates in the face of a catastrophic team, first saved by his goalkeeper Yehvann Diouf. Biereth took advantage of a center (right foot) of Cio Henrique (34th), a discount in the surface of Maghnes Akliouche (39th) and an occasion not transformed by Breel Embolo (51st) to make his Hat-Trick. The native of London (formed in Fulham and Arsenal) however released in the 79th minute due to a small muscle injury (he is far from having the physique of an Ibrahimovic prime).

The ASM of Adi Hütter puts pressure on OM by returning to three lengths from the 2nd in the ranking (which faces Nantes on Sunday evening). Biereth may be missing during the trip to Toulouse next week. Reims, for his part, continues a fifth defeat in a row. The situation is dramatic. The Champenois are 15th, under the threat of Saint-Etienne, a current barragist who has three points less.
