PSG cries one of its historic leaders. In a coma for several days, Bernard Brochand died on Tuesday, February 25 in the morning at the age of 86.
Bernard Brochand had entered the Board of Directors of Paris Saint-Germain in 1971. He was originally, with Alain Cayzac, Charles Talar or Daniel Hechter, of the Renaissance of the Parisian club after his separation from Paris FC early 1970s.
“His memory will remain forever engraved in the history of the club”
He had become president of the Association of Red and Blue in 1991, after being at the heart of the PSG buy -back negotiations by the Canal+group.
“It was with great sadness that we learned of the death of Bernard Brochand, said the current president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi. He marked the history of Paris Saint-Germain by his commitment and his passion which helped make PSG what he is today.
