By falling on Saturday at home in front of West Ham, Arsenal loses a little more land on Liverpool in the race for the title of champion of England.

The race for the title of Champion of England 2025 may have experienced a decisive turn this February 22. Beaten at home by West Ham (0-1), Arsenal still loses ground on Liverpool. The Reds have eight points ahead of the Gunners, second, at the top of the ranking and 26 matches disputed each.

The opportunity was however beautiful for Arsenal against the Hammers, 16th, while Liverpool had been hung on Wednesday by Aston Villa (2-2) in the advanced match of the 29th day. A goal from Bowen at the end of the first period (0-1, 44th) and a red card addressed to Lewis-Skelly in the 73rd, weighed the momentum of the men of Mikel Arteta.
