The future of Rafael Leao could well be written elsewhere than in AC Milan. Indeed, if the Lombard club seemed little inclined to let his star slip away, Chelsea Chronicle reports that the Milanese management would now consider including it in an exchange during discussions with Chelsea for the final transfer of João Félix. The latter arrived in San Siro this winter from the London club as part of a loan until the end of the season.
According to information from La Gazzetta dello Sport,
This decision to cede Leao is notably motivated by the conviction of Rossoneri leaders that the former Lille, whose contract expires in June 2028, reached the limit of its progress within the club. But also by their difficulties in convincing the blues to let FƩlix go.
In parallel, Chelsea could be favorable to such a proposal, given the lack of success of its wingers on the left side, like Jadon Sancho, loaned by Manchester United with option to buy. Note that an interview between the representatives of the two clubs would be scheduled soon.
