Erling Haaland's father, Alf-Inge, teased Real Madrid before the Grand Match of the Champions League of Manchester City against the Spanish Champions.

In 2023, Haaland's father was escorted out of his executive dressing room at the Bernabeu Santiago after having, it seems, provoked the Madrid supporters below and having thrown them peanuts. A security guard took him away while the cries of
“Tonto! »» (which means “silly”) resounded around him. Today, Haaland unearthed this old rivalry once again by publishing a photo of a large bowl of peanuts on X, subtitled “Ready for Battle”before City's return to Real Madrid's home on Wednesday evening.

After this first expulsion from the Bernabeu stadium, Haaland had addressed X and wrote: “Ok. The RM was not happy that we celebrate KDB's goal. Other than that, we had to move because the RM fans are not happy with the 1-1 ”. Obviously, he has not completely forgotten this resentment.

It was a huge evening for the old Haaland Senior team while Manchester City sought to avoid a premature outing of the Champions League. But this little chambering went wrong, since City was eliminated by Real Madrid thanks to a hat-trick of Mbappé Wednesday evening (3-1).
