Ligue 1: A small PSG provides the essentials in Toulouse

In a very busy February and between two play-offs against Stade Brestois, in C1, a Paris Saint-Germain Rémanié presented itself at the Toulouse Stadium in order to continue its good dynamic at the top of the championship. Kvaratskhelia was aligned with Barcola and Lee in attack, in front of Mayulu, Goué, Ruiz, Beraldo or Safonov in the goals to go and sink a Toulouse training which has not won since January 5.

With fewer automatisms, Parisians did not manage to deploy their game and conceded a lot of opportunities from the locals, like a first Cresswell head pushed by Safonov (14th), then a shot of Aboukhlal passed very close to the executive (23rd). The PSG heated with a strike from Beraldo rejected by remains on its own post (35th). Before the porter of the tef gave way on injury to Haug (43rd).

Toulouse did not take advantage of it

It was not until the second period to see the match coming alive, with new Toulouse opportunities from Dönnum (50th) and Aboukhlal, still very close to the frame (46th). But the tef paid for it dearly, since on a Parisian corner, Ruiz could resume stolen from the second post to open the scoring (1-0, 54th). Dangerous, like a gifted who found the post (60th), PSG was not immune to equalization and also saw Luis Enrique annoyed over the match on his bench touch.

But Toulouse could not take advantage of it and did not dare to project themselves enough towards the opposing defense. As a result, PSG has established itself on the smallest of the margins and ensures the essentials, keeping ten points ahead of Olympique de Marseille. A perfect result before an intense week with the C1 return dam, against Brest and the trip to the lawn of Olympique Lyonnais, next week. For his part, Toulouse stayed 10th before going to Le Havre.
