In a video posted on the official YouTube channel of Fenerbahce, we see a supporter running next to the team's bus and lifting your fist as a sign of support. A few moments later, this same supporter was seen on the bus in a somewhat disconcerted state, after being invited by Mourinho to enter. He had the opportunity to meet the players, then stay with the team at their hotel for a team meal.
Mourinho invites a supporter
Mourinho was not always particularly happy in Türkiye, but his problems were with the structure of football and the leaders he met in the country, rather than with ordinary people. Even with its hard exterior as a serial winner, the Portuguese has regularly shown a softer side over the years. In 2005, Mourinho sold his famous coat to collect funds for a charitable work. More recently, in 2023, he allowed local children to come to the Roma training center to attend a live session.

Fenerbahce has been targeting a first Super Lig title for more than a decade and Mourinho has contributed to leading the fight against the leader and reigning champion Galatasaray this season. His team is on an excellent momentum, taking 34 points out of the last 39 in play before Sunday kick -off against Alanyaspor. Mourinho, personally, has not won a title of national champion since 2014-15, when he won his third crown of the Premier League with Chelsea.
