Approaching a highly anticipated Madrid derby, Real Madrid continues to complain about arbitration management in Spain. After the filter declarations of Carlo Ancelotti on the sidelines of Real-Leganes this week, it's the channel Real Madrid TV who immersed himself on the subject. According to a report made, Real Madrid would be the club most disadvantaged by the Var by liga, pointing to a harder treatment with the Merengues than with their opponents. Indeed, since the establishment of the Var in Liga, 41 Var decisions have been made in favor of Madrilenians, against 68 against. A negative differential of 27 decisions which is the highest in the entire Spanish championship, ahead of Cadiz (-16) and Mallorca (-13). Conversely, FC Barcelona (+4) and Atlético Madrid (+9) would be one of the many clubs for which the VAR decisions ratio would be positive.

The report also recalls that Real Madrid is the team that had the most goals refused by video arbitration, with a total of 32 canceled achievements, ahead of Seville (19) and Atlético de Madrid (17). “An arbitration system that continues to tarnish the image of Spanish football and, therefore, that of the Liga brand worldwide”deplores Real Madrid TV in their video. Enough to raise the pressure for César Soto Grado and Ricardo de Burgos Bengoetxea, the two referees commissioned in the field and in the Var of this Madrid derby.
