The future of Gianluigi Donnarumma in Paris Saint-Germain seemed to be pending in recent weeks. Indeed, rumors evoked discussions in “stand-by” between the Italian goalkeeper and the management of the Ile-de-France club concerning an extension of his contract expiring in June 2026.
However, according to radio information RMCthe talks between the two parties were relaunched. And the last performances of the captain of Squadra Azzur will have played in favor of the Neapolitan, to whom the PSG staff seems again ready to trust in the long term.
An extension under conditions
However, our colleagues specify that a sine qua non condition remains, namely membership of the new salary policy of the Parisian club. If Donnarumma accepts, his salary will include fixed emoluments with variables according to his performance.
As a reminder, since the start of this exercise 2023-24, Donnarumma took part in 23 meetings in Parisian colors. He notably managed to keep his cages invited during six of them.
