Frankfurt can tear your hair out. Traveling to Hoffenheim this Sunday, Dino Toppmöller's players long believed they had won, until this equalizer which had been hanging over their noses for quite a while, and which finally fell on them in the very last moments of the match (2 -2). This meeting will still have delivered several reasons for hope, such as the excellent form of Hugo Ekitike, determined to perpetuate the legacy left by Marmoush after his transfer to Manchester City. Scorer in his last three matches against Fribourg, Dortmund and Ferencváros, the former Parisian is back in action, and twice this evening (2-2).

He launched hostilities from the penalty spot after half an hour (0-1), before Gift Orban responded in the second half, only two minutes after coming on (1-1, 65th). A fleeting joy for the locals, sent back to their doubts after a new goal from Ekitike, his 11th in the championship, on a perfect serve from Kristensen (1-2, 71st). It was ultimately Adam Hlozek, with a sublime volley, and Andrej Kramaric, with a perfect ladle to serve it, who allowed Hoffenheim to limit the damage (2-2, 90+5th) and avoid a second defeat this week. Frankfurt maintains its third place in the Bundesliga standings. Hoffenheim is 15th, and is slowly moving away from the gray areas.
