Daniele De Rossi becomes owner of a football club

After being a player, then a coach, Daniele De Rossi became an owner. The former Italian international (117 caps, 21 goals) announced the purchase of Ostiamare, the Italian Fourth Division club where he began his career. Currently 14th in Group E of Serie D, the club was facing serious economic difficulties and was at risk of bankruptcy. De Rossi cleared his debts, promising to end the irregularities and secure the facilities.

On Instagram he expressed his ambition to build a solid club, with the long-term objective of making Ostiamare the third reference in Roman football: “ My goal will be to work towards building a strong, transparent and innovative club, a way to unite people, promote community values ​​and bring families together in their region, with the pride of representing Ostia on and off of the land“.
