According to reports in Germany, Davies will sign a five-year contract until 2030 with Bayern, receive a fixed salary of 15 million euros and 5 million euros in performance-based bonuses, and receive a signing fee of 20 million euros.
This comes after Bayern reportedly managed to convince Davies to extend his stay with the German giants, despite him being in the final six months of his contract. Real Madrid have been heavily linked with the left-back for some time now, but it appears their attempt to sign the 24-year-old this summer is over.
An astronomical amount
Canadian international Davies joined Bayern from the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018 and since then he has played 220 times for the club, won five Bundesliga titles and become one of the best left-backs in the world.
As Davies moves closer to extending his stay at Bayern, Vincent Kompany's men travel to Freiburg in the Bundesliga on Saturday.
