It was far from a surprise, but Florentino Pérez has officially been re-elected president of Real Madrid. The club from the Spanish capital announced this Tuesday, on the eve of facing Salzburg in the Champions League; that its president would remain in office until 2029. After the electoral process, the white club confirmed that it would honor its seventh term.
“The Council Room of Real Madrid City welcomed the proclamation of Florentino Pérez as president of Real Madrid. Under the presidency of Florentino Pérez, since July 2000, Real Madrid have won 65 titles between the two sections. 37 in football and 28 in basketball”specifies Real Madrid in its press release.
