The Federal Disciplinary Commission of the French Football Federation decided this Thursday. After having studied the case of Medhi Benatia, following the attitude of the OM leader at the end of the meeting of the 16th of the French Cup between Marseille and Lille, the body inflicted a suspension as a conservatory.
The information was revealed by The team before its formalization. For the time being, the duration of this suspension is not known. Medhi Benatia will soon go to the FFF headquarters to know it. For OM, this is bad news because according to RMCthe Marseille club rather expected an investigation of the file before a subsequent summons. Létang also concerned
Medhi Benatia is not the only one concerned by this sanction since Olivier Létang also received the same suspension as a conservatory. The president of LOSC had been guilty of having caught the fourth referee during this famous Coupe de France match against the Marseillais, at the end of regulation time. As for Medhi Benatia, he was excluded by Clément Turpin just before the penalty shootout. The behavior of the former footballer had been deemed too “vehement”, as the media recalled.
