This Saturday, January 18, PSG lost sharply at home to Olympique Lyonnais (0-2) in the shock of the 13th day of the Women's Premier League, formerly D1 Arkema. A defeat which relegates the Parisiennes to eight points behind Lyon, comfortably installed at the top of the standings. After the match, Sakina Karchaoui's teammates were keen to greet the almost 20,000 supporters who came to the stadium, a record attendance for French women's football.

To welcome them, no banner, no applause, no boos, just… backs. The club's ultras showed their disappointment by turning their backs on their players after the defeat. “I can understand their frustration. It remains the shock of the season, we lose it. What we said to each other remains between them and us. I just thank them for always being there for us and pushing us every game. They are always behind us”put Elisa de Almeida into perspective in the mixed zone after the meeting.
