Bernardo Silva, the Portuguese midfielder from Manchester City, analyzes the strengths of PSG and announces a match under high tension.

The meeting between Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, scheduled for this Wednesday, promises to be one of the most promising matches of this 7th day of the Champions League. Among the twenty-two expected players, Bernardo Silva, Skyblues attacking midfielder, shared his impressions on this crucial duel.

“It’s going to be a match with a lot of intensity. Both teams need to win. We (Manchester City) didn't expect to be in this (bad) position, we didn't want to be there. But there is no excuse, we had to do much better. It’s going to be a match with a lot of pressure”said the Portuguese international.

Silva's warning

The former Monegasque does not underestimate the quality of the Parisian collective, despite the youth of its squad. “It’s a very young team. I really like (Bradley) Barcola for example. (Ousmane) Dembele can always make the difference at any time. (…) In the middle, I really like Vitinha and João Neves, they are magnificent players. And of course, there is another one of my teammates (in the selection) that I really like: Nuno Mendes. He has a lot of energy, it’s magnificent”he analyzed at the microphone of Téléfoot.

As a reminder, PSG currently occupies 25th place in the group stage and is not yet guaranteed to qualify for the rest of the European competition. For his part, the reigning four-time English champion is currently 22nd, a position which would allow him to compete in the play-offs.
